Animal Raindrop Technique

Applying a technique proven to help energetically balance the body physically and emotionally, we can help our furry and feathered companions by giving them the opportunity to live their best lives. This is similar to the Raindrop Technique used in humans but adapted for those with paws, claws, and hooves. Essential oils are applied in a specific method based on the Lakota Indian healing ritual.

What a session looks like.

An animal raindrop session varies depending on the species of animal being worked on and what they will allow. The goal of the session is to provide a calm relaxing environment that fosters the balancing of the body. Here are some videos of working on different species.

Here is a short video of a goat receiving the Raindrop Technique. With non-companion animals its easier to let them take the breaks they need and allow them to come back to finish their session in sections.

Read more about Raindrop Technique here. There is very little difference in how the animals are anointed with the oils compared to humans. Often times because animals are naturally more open with their emotions and willingness to be balanced we see very visual cues the animals are letting go of emotional or physical blocks. Animals suffer from the same emotions just like humans: anxiety, fear, aggression and phobias are just a few. This technique can be modified for any and all animals, you can see a variety of clients I have had sessions with.
